Since graduating from St. Mary’s School of Law in 2007 with J.D., Glen Wietzel has worked with REW Managing Partner Mark Robinius, focusing on criminal and family law, but also assisting in civil litigation and personal injury. He was a former judge at the Garland Municipal Court.

Wietzel’s criminal law experience includes trying multiple jury trials and was able to get acquittals. He believes in protecting constitutional rights of citizens and making sure the state meets its burden. Wietzel makes sure that clients are well informed and make educated decisions regarding their case. Has handled cases from Class C misdemeanors to murders - nothing is off-limits.

His family law experience includes handling everything from agreed divorces to complex property/child custody cases. His philosophy is that he encourages agreements where appropriate and encourages clients to find a way to resolve a very difficult experience in an amicable fashion but willing to draw the line where lines should be drawn. Wietzel believes that protecting your assets and children are the goal and family law cases are a marathon, not a sprint. When he agrees to take a case, Wietzel will do everything in his power to achieve a just and equitable outcome.
